Staatsbosbeheer, the largest nature conservation organization in The Netherlands, is happy to welcome Naturschutz in the Peel. Together with delegates of the Provincie Noord-Brabant, Waterschap Aa en Maas and the Gemeente Deurne, we will discuss the following topics:
- how the cooperation with nature conservation organizations, governments (forestry, agriculture, soil protection) and farmers is going;
- how the Netherlands is pursuing the development of an ecological infrastructure, how this translates into the task set by the State for nature conservation and how it is implemented in general and how the collaboration with the Province of Noord-Brabant proceeds;
- how nature reserves are managed in the Netherlands;
- how nature reserves are protected (regulation or management contract);
- how the collaboration with owners and managers proceeds;
- how Leegveld is specifically maintained (field trip).
